The details.

This tungsten carbide men's ring pairs a durable tungsten carbide base with a rosewood inlay. The rosewood inlay adds a warmer organic accent, balanced by the strength of the tungsten carbide base. Scratch-resistant and easy to wear day after day, it gives you a bolder look without losing the practicality tungsten is known for.

The ring arrived and it exceeded our expectations! It is nicer in person than the photos show, well made and beautifully presented. The customer service was friendly, helpful and prompt. The postage was amazingly fast - overnight to rural QLD - wow! We were hesitant to buy online but we could not be happier with the product and service - highly recommend to anyone :-)

Caring for your Carbon Fibre ring

Carbon fibre rings are layered woven carbon set into a resin matrix, often inlaid into a titanium, tungsten or ceramic outer sleeve. The carbon itself is inert — it won't tarnish, rust or react with skin, chlorine or saltwater. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; skip ultrasonic cleaners and harsh solvents like acetone, which can dull the resin over time.

Carbon is light and tough but the resin layer can chip on a sharp impact, so take the ring off for heavy lifting and contact sports. Most carbon rings cannot be resized — the weave runs continuously around the band — so getting sized right at order time is important. Stored in a soft pouch away from direct sunlight, the deep black pattern stays sharp for decades.

Common questions about Carbon Fibre rings

Are carbon fibre rings durable enough for daily wear?

Yes for office and light-trade wear — carbon fibre composites are stronger than titanium by weight and won't corrode. They can chip on a sharp impact (drops onto tile, hammer strikes), so heavy tradies often prefer tungsten or titanium for full-time site work.

Will a carbon ring fade or change colour?

No — the weave pattern is set into UV-stable resin and the colour is the carbon itself, not a coating. Avoid leaving it on a sunny car dash for weeks at a time, but normal NZ outdoor wear won't fade it.

Can a carbon fibre ring be resized?

Most cannot — the woven layers run continuously and can't be cut and re-joined like metal. Order your exact size; if you're between sizes, go up by a half. NZ jewellers will size your finger for free.

Is carbon fibre hypoallergenic?

Yes — pure carbon and cured epoxy resin are both biologically inert, with no nickel, copper or other common allergens. If the ring has a metal sleeve (titanium or tungsten), check that's hypoallergenic too — both of those are.

Considering alternatives?

Carbon often pairs with — or competes against — titanium rings, which give a similar modern, lightweight feel with a metallic finish instead of a woven black look. Titanium is easier to resize and slightly more impact-tolerant; carbon wins on distinctive pattern.
