You won't be able to return a titanium ring if it doesn't fit optimally, so you have to order the perfect size, on your first attempt. The only way to achieve that is to:
1) Buy a set of US sized ring bands (aluminium) from eBay ~US$10......
2) Buy a low cost digital measurement calipers ~US$18.....
3) Try the bands and measure the internal diameter, to the nearest tenth of a millimeter, for the band which fits best - this confirms the size bands didn't fail quality control....
4) Check which US size matches your millimeters at https://www.brilliance.com/ring-size-conversion-chart....
5) Order the ring based on the US ring size - which is not in millimeters.
6) When you get your ring, measure it using the calipers to confirm it's exactly the size you ordered.

If you're not prepared to do all this then I suggest buying an "Inner Circle" where you can get your jeweller to ream out the wooden centre if you need an expansion, or replace the wooden centre with a thicker one if you need a reduction.

Initially I ordered a Tungsten and Koa Wood Mens Ring which arrived very promptly. A stunning ring, however it did not fit as I was unsure of sizing. I used the ring sizer that accompanied the ring and was able to exchange for a custom Titanium ring. The process was very easy and MRO kept me up to date with regular contact. Very happy with my end product.
Titanium is about 45% lighter than steel but still corrosion-proof, so it shrugs off salt water, sweat, chlorine and household cleaners without tarnishing. Wash it once a week with warm water and a drop of dish soap, work a soft toothbrush around any inlays or grooves, then pat dry. The surface can pick up fine hairline scratches over time — these can be re-brushed with a green scotch-brite pad if you prefer the matte look, or polished out by any NZ jeweller for a small fee.
Remove the ring for heavy lifting, climbing or anything where the finger could be crushed, because titanium is harder to cut than gold and emergency staff will need bolt cutters or a diamond-tipped saw. Otherwise it is one of the most wearable metals — fully hypoallergenic, hypothermic-friendly (it warms to skin temperature quickly), and unaffected by the iodine-rich coastal air found across most of NZ.
