The ring was a gift for my Grandson and he loves it. It came beautifully packaged and looks great on his hand. Very fast delivery, as well.
Tungsten carbide is the hardest common ring metal going — this band will stay scratch-free through farm work, rugby, and general hard use that would mark up anything softer. The weight is solid and substantial without being uncomfortable. The surface keeps its polish for years with minimal care. One thing to be aware of: tungsten can't be resized, so measure your finger carefully before ordering. Also, for blokes working around machinery, consider a silicone ring as a worksite alternative. Tungsten looks sharp and stays that way.

We are really happy with my partner's ring. It was given as a gift at the birth of our first child. Unfortunately I had got the wrong size so sent it back for the correct size. The process went very smoothly and we had the replacement within a couple of days.

Ring is much better than I thought it would be. The picture shows really bright red but in person it is a duller red which is much better. I ordered Monday Morning, received Tuesday. Highly reccomend.
The ring options available was amazing, and the ring I decided to purchase was exceptional. I am so happy with the choice I made, the quality and fit of the ring . The price was perfect and shipping was really good and quick. Overall I am extremely happy with men’s rings online
My partner loves the style and colour of his wedding ring! Great ring at a great price.
I originally purchased this ring in too large a size, by simpily sending the ring back they sent a new, smaller one free of charge. 10/10
Tungsten carbide is one of the hardest metals used in jewellery, scoring around 9 on the Mohs scale, so day-to-day scratches from desks, tools and gym equipment rarely leave a mark. Wipe the ring with a soft cloth and warm soapy water every week or two to lift skin oils and soap residue, then dry it fully before putting it back on. Avoid dropping it on tile or concrete — tungsten resists scratching but can chip or fracture from a hard impact.
Take the ring off before heavy lifting, contact sports or rock climbing, since unlike softer metals tungsten cannot be cut off with standard ring cutters in an emergency (medics use a vice-grip crack method instead). The polish holds for years without re-buffing, and the ring will not tarnish, oxidise or react with chlorine in pools or spas.
Yes — tungsten is the most scratch-resistant ring metal sold in New Zealand and holds its mirror polish through years of trades work, farming or office wear. It sits in the mid-price band (well under most gold options) and ships free across NZ. The main trade-off is that it cannot be resized, so getting the fit right at order time matters.
Yes, but not with a standard ring cutter. NZ emergency departments and jewellers use locking pliers or a vice-grip to apply pressure at two points until the ring cracks cleanly into two halves, which actually comes off faster than sawing through gold. Always tell medical staff the ring is tungsten so they grab the right tool.
No. Quality tungsten carbide rings use a nickel-free binder and are hypoallergenic, so there is no oxidation transfer to skin. If you see grey marks it is usually a metallic-soap reaction from heavy hand-cream or sunscreen — wash with warm water and it lifts off.
NZ ring sizing uses the same A–Z letter scale as Australia and the UK, so any NZ jeweller can size you for free. Because tungsten cannot be resized after manufacture, we recommend getting sized at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, and ordering a half-size up if you work outdoors in cold weather.
Buyers weighing up tungsten often also look at titanium rings — both are hypoallergenic and modern, but titanium is roughly four times lighter on the finger while tungsten holds a brighter, more scratch-proof polish. Pick tungsten for weight and shine, titanium for an almost-weightless feel.
Every ring in our range is built to outlast the work it’s worn through. Here’s what comes with yours, and how we back it.

Real heft in the hand. Nothing hollow, no plating to wear through. Same metal day one, day ten thousand.
If the metal cracks or breaks during everyday wear, we replace the ring. Plating and inlays wear naturally and aren't covered.
